My wife and I just got back from a 14 day stay at
CSM (Feb 01 to Feb 15) LOVED this resort Quiet /
Relaxing / Good Food / Excellent Staff "ALL" /
Great Room "we were the First to use it" / The
Beach is Beaufiful / NO water motor sports / Was
the first to use Brand new Scuba Equipment / All
Sail Boats,Cateramen,etc.. NEW./ Nice Pools / Most
of all we loved the clear clean water and the time
that we were there it rained approx. 2 to 4
Minutes, the rest of the time it was beautiful and
sunny.

Welcome back Dan & Marie. There is a bunch of us on this site that came back 1-2-3-4 weeks ago and everyone had the same opinion as yours. Every one appreciated CSM and the Cubans working there.
If you look at the link in the article titled Photo Of Caya Santa Maria in the forum, you will see that Lily is currently constructing a site with a lot of pictures from CSM. It will remind you beautiful souvenirs when you will think about your trip.

Hi Dan & Marie !
Can you tell me some details about scuba diving in CSM ? Quality of dive sites, marine life, dive center and dive boats? Are dive sites far (boat rides)? Shallow or deep for best marine life ? Are you gone for almost all day for two dives ( like in CL ) Is it possible to buy dive package with a credit card or just $US cash ? Approximate costs?

Can yo tell me if the diving center is on site our do you have to travel to the marina like in Cayo Largo.

Too All who wish to know more about scuba diving
at CSM.
Dive center is off site they give lessons at the
pool. Cost for Ocean Scuba Dive is $47.00 US at
Motel but if you present yourself at marina price
is less... We went snorkling with guide at motel.
Nice under water site near motel cost $5.00 US
Each..They are still developing the best dive sites.
