We are planning to load The next container,(this year's number 7) on Saturday October 18th, starting at 8.30- 9.00 AM. The materials in this container will be a mixture of medical equipment and supplies, as well as hurricane relief items, for Puerto Padre and Manati, in the province of LasTunas, and possibly some items for places in the province of Camaguey. The medical stuff will be for Havana province and City as well as Ciego de Avila, as far as we know right now.Shortly after that, we will (if all goes well) load another container entirely with Hurricane relief materials, which will include food and or building materials.

Who is available?????

Nous prévoyons de charger le prochain récipient, (ce year' ; s numéro 7) le samedi 18 octobre, commençant à 8.30 - 9.00 AM. Les matériaux dans ce récipient seront un mélange d'équipement médical et d'approvisionnements, aussi bien que des articles de soulagement d'ouragan, pour Puerto Padre et Manati, dans la province de LasTunas, et probablement quelques articles pour des endroits dans la province de Camagsuey. thanks rumrunner for this update...yes, the translation makes sense....except for container...un conteneur would be more appropriate but we do understand it all...

do you still get enough volunteers?

Kudos for all the wonderful work you guys do at the Fondation Dubois! I do hope to see more pictures of all this relief effort!

So far we are doing not too bad on volunteers, but could use a few more. A lot of clothing donations have came in over the last week and it all needs to be sorted and bagged up to get onto this container.

Unfortunately a couple of regular volunteers ( including myself) cannot make this one.

Thanks to a great group of people another container is packed and will soon be on its way to help the people of Puerto Padre and Manati, in the province of LasTunas.

Another packing is planned for either Nov 8 or 15th.
